Children's Ministry News and upcoming Events
- Children Recognition: Celebrating 3 Year-Olds
Three year olds (and their families) are invited to join us on May 6th to receive Story Bibles from Children’s Ministry to help them continue to learn about God’s love. At 10:30 our special guests are invited to visit an Open House between services. Parents are invited to send a photo of their child (even if they are unable to attend) to rcooney@stmarkscarmel.org. - Books of the Bible - During the large group time children are learning the books of the Bible. We started with the Old Testament and are incorporating music and activities to reinforce learning. We will continue to include students in the life of our congregation during the communion supper on the first Sunday of each month. The Children’s Ministry department is happy to answer any questions or provide more information about exciting new additions to our programming.
- Kids' Night Out & Parents’ Night Off - 2nd Friday of each Month
Children ages 4-10 years-old are invited to join the fun the 2nd Friday of each month from 6-9 PM in the gym for Kids' Night Out & Parents' Night Off. Children will be able to enjoy activities, games, a movie, and a snack throughout the evening as they are supervised by Cornerstone youth, while you are welcome to go out for for quality parent time! Registration required. - Summer Camp Opportunities Church camp is designed to help children thrive on their spiritual journey. The United Methodist Churches of Indiana offers excellent camps through Impact 2818: Outdoor Ministries. In addition to lots of fun, summer church camp can also provide transformational experiences in the life of a child. St. Mark’s is looking to coordinate summer camp sessions this summer to help children build community with others from our church while also meeting many other children from across the state. Information on individual and family camps in Indiana is available at www.Impact2818.org. Early registration closes 4/15/2018.

Safety Comes First
Parents, thank you for taking the time each week to complete a label for each of your children and then presenting the stub to their leader when you pick them up from their classroom. This greatly helps both their leaders and us in keeping St. Mark’s a safe and loving environment for all of our children.
